What is Tall Thin Town?

Tall Thin Town is a podcast series available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and (name the platform you use because we’re there too).

Who are we, exactly?

The Batman meets Narnia. Gravity Falls meets Dune.

It’s a vast modern epic.

An episodic radio drama.

The first season is still in production…

But the writers are too excited. They’ve decided to start releasing stories early…

Welcome to the Tall Thin Town...

Hey, there! I’m Ethan Lex, head writer on Tall Thin Town.

Also, producer. And a few other fun things, here and there.

Story is pretty powerful, and that’s that.

It can also be pretty, too. Ignore the weird image in the background of this text.

Enough mantra. Let’s get down to brass tax:

I love to create compelling stories for you. Yep. You, reader who put their email in that box up there.

My colleagues do, too. And we feel pretty excited about Tall Thin Town. It’s an epic saga (what better way is there to say it?) about four brilliant strangers who live in a massive, ancient tower.

Whoopee. What makes these people compelling?

I’m glad you asked. (Now you have to ask that question out loud).

My answer: join our email family. We send cool, fun things weekly. Things you actually want to click on.

If you’ve read this far already, you’re basically in. What are you waiting for? Go, join the Tall Thin Town.

We’re stoked you’re here.

Wow! You’re still reading. I love the enthusiasm.

I realized I never really told you who we were. And, since we’re good friends already, I suppose honesty is only fitting.

Tall Thin Town is a production based in ocean-y Seattle, Washington. Our staff is small (take whatever number you’re thinking, multiply it by 0, then add 2) but we love it that way.

We never want to be too far from the listener (you, the next time you open Spotify. Or Napster. Bring it back.) That’s why we always write back. That’s why we write, period. We’re done with big productions with lackluster writing that says nothing.

We hope to give you outstanding content—and in return, we hope you stick with us.

Like I said before, story is powerful. Take Lord of the Rings or Interstellar or The Bible. Truth is captivating. We hope to give a gut-punch of truth in a captivating way. How did Mary Poppins put it?

I suppose I said enough mantra.

I guess I wasn’t done.

Thanks for supporting the world we’ve created.

Join us on the journey! We’d love to walk it with you.

We promise the tower is kind of cool.
